We are bowling to help support handicapped scouts.<br /><br /><br />The Bowl-O-Ree is used to support programs for youth with special needs in the Westchester-Putnam Council. This program benefits nearly 1,000 youth in approximately 20 different schools. The youth learn lifelong skills and Scouting values. The program takes place within their school classroom on a regularly scheduled basis and is implemented by two trained adult Scout staff members.<br />If you want to participate (and bowl for FREE) you must collect a minimum of $30.00 in pledges or real money. Of the money you collect, we (USY) keep 25%. <br />It’s a win – win – win for everyone. Special needs scouts benefit, we earn money for ourselves, and have fun. All at the same time.<br />We need to know who will be bowling (so we can reserve the correct number of lanes) by Monday February 18th. By the way, parents can bowl too.<br />The pledge form will be attached to the next email you receive. Download the form and ask a few people you know to support you in collecting a few dollars to help special needs scouts. Ask your aunts, uncles, teachers, neighbors... anyone you know well enough to have a normal conversation with. Just say, <blockquote></blockquote><blockquote><p>I'm bowling to raise a few dollars for special needs scouts.
